We didn’t get all our decoration surprises out this season, so we’ll just have to save those for next year. Who knew decorating with a newborn would be so hard? 😂 Anyway, we’ll be back January 6th to kick off Carnival season and UNLEASH THE KRAKEN!! If you find it in your heart, please take a moment to support Grace at the Green Light, and all they do in helping get New Orleans’ homeless off the street and reunited with their families. On behalf of all of the Soliman family at The Kraken House NOLA, we’d like to thank you for an amazing Halloween! If you enjoyed our display, we’d love if you took a moment to support to an amazing charity - Grace at the Green Light, in particular, their “I’m going home” program. Grace is dedicated to assisting the unhoused population rekindle relationships with friends, families, and loved ones to help them off the street, but more importantly, to give them help and assistance they need to put them on a sustainable path moving forward. While it’s always fun to make a spectacle for a holiday, it means that much more if we can leverage that fun to make a meaningful impact to our community that we love. The truth is, if 3% of the 3 Million people who saw the house on social media donated $1, we would be able to make a impact on the unhoused population in our community for years to come.
